Sustainability takes center stage with the new Hana table. The design is the brainchild of designer Joost van der Vecht, sustainable furniture brand Occony, and circular furniture brand Aectual, and developed with hospitality interiors in mind.
The name "Hana" draws inspiration from the Japanese word for "flower," hinting at the table's inherent beauty and its sustainable principles. It's a subtle nod to the modern craftsmanship that went into creating this novel piece of furniture.
The base of the table is 3D printed using recycled beverage carton foils, giving a new lease of life to materials that would have otherwise gone to waste. After use, the material can be shredded and reprinted into new furniture. The top is made from recycled wood fibers and features a water-based wood finish, completely free from toxic elements.
Available in three different diameters—105cm, 120cm, and 130cm—it can easily adapt to various spatial requirements. You can choose from four wood finishes: White, Pure, Natural, and Carbon. The 3D printed base also offers a wide range of 13 standard colors, adding an extra touch of individuality to your space. And for those seeking even more personalization, custom colors can be requested for both base and top.
The Hana table is perfect for workplaces and hospitality interiors dedicated to raise the bar in terms of circular use, but without compromising on style. Its timeless design is both elegant and fun, and suits a variety of spaces.
